Why is “Save us, Lord; we are perishing,” the quintessential Christian prayer?

Why did Jesus dwell among us?

Are you afraid of something? We all battle fear. Remember, you are in the boat with Jesus. Into what boat did you follow Jesus?  How has He promised to be here with us to the end of the age (Matt. 28:18-20)?

Where is the one place you need to look when you struggle to see that Jesus is all about saving you from danger?

What does Jesus say when we pray to be saved from perishing?

Who is in control?
