Starting September 10, 2017, youth of all ages will have a place to grow in Christ at St. Mark’s!
0 – 3 year olds: The littlest of littles can be nurtured in our nursery, which is staffed by a loving member of the congregation so moms and dads can attend Bible study. Of course, if you’re more comfortable having your little one with you at Bible study, that’s fine too. The service is available for your convenience.
Both the “non-readers” (age 3 – 1st grade) and the readers (2nd – 6th grade) classes will be, starting 9/10/17, studying God’s Word using the Growing in Christ Sunday School curriculum published by Concordia Publishing House.
All youth in 7th grade and up will join Pastor Bramwell’s adult Bible study. This is a good opportunity for the youth to grow in their understanding of the Word as well as glean wisdom from the generations ahead of them. Likewise, it’s a wonderful opportunity for the adults to learn from the youth. They have much to teach us! It’s a good thing the Pastor Bramwell is a kid at heart.
Confirmation (Catechism Class)
For middle school and high school aged youth who haven’t been confirmed in the Christian faith, please contact Pastor Bramwell. He would love to be of service so that these young people may receive the gifts God gives us through His Means of Grace.
Middle school aged youth draw our attention to the light of Christ that fills this dark world when they serve as acolytes. Find out more information by clicking here.
Similar to serving as an acolyte, being a bell-ringer is a great (and simple) way for youth to serve the church. Click here for more information.
