Only in Jesus Will You Inherit Life Eternal

This Week’s Sign (9/3/23 – 9/9/23)

Galatians 3:21-22

“For if a law had been given that could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law. But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.”

Listen every Saturday at 9 AM (Pacific) at KFUO.org or on your favorite podcast app.

Special guest, Rev. Christopher Thoma, talks about Michigan’s hate crime bill (HB-4474) that will make speaking the truth in love a felony. He also addresses the church’s need to prepare for hard times, and what pastors can do to prevent persecution before it arrives. Plus, Evangelicals are learning what some Lutherans have forgotten, and the Johnson Amendment isn’t as restricting as you might think. Today’s show is about The Body of Christ and the Public Square.

A Prayer for Ferndale’s Students

This Week’s Sign (8/28/23 – 9/3/23)

First Week of School

Ferndale may be a small farm town where you would expect to find old-fashioned values, but sadly our teachers bring their leftist views (often from Arcata’s Cal-Poly Humboldt) into their classrooms. Please pray for the students in our schools.

Plus, Pastor Bramwell wants to know what GUESTS you’d like to have ON THE SHOW. Allie Beth Stuckey episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH_6vhlatEI&t=1398s

By Grace You Have Been Saved

This Week’s Sign (8/20/23 – 8/26/23)

Ephesians 2:1-10

And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankindBut God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

You Have Been Saved By Grace | Sermon

Pastor Bramwell preached this sermon on Ephesians 2:1-10 for the Eleventh Sunday after Trinity, August 20, 2023. This version was recorded for the benefit of those unable to attend the Divine Service and for the evangelism efforts of the congregation.

You were once dead in your trespasses and sins, a son of disobedience following Satan. Not anymore. You have been saved by grace. Jesus died for you so that you would be saved.
