For the Third Sunday in Lent, Pastor Bramwell preached on the three uses of the Law from all three Scriptures readings. The podcast and video versions were produced for the benefit of those who were unable to attend the Divine Service and for the evangelism effort of the congregation.

Are you a farting peasant? How do you know? Maybe you don’t know what you don’t know, you know? How should the Christian act in light of ridicule and in the midst of an evil culture? Nice, right? At all times, always be nice. Is that true? I don’t know if #MarkRobinson would agree with you, and I know #MartinLuther wouldn’t. In this episode, given that it’s no longer Black History Month, we’re going to see from Frederick Douglass, Martin Luther, and Paul how the nice-at-all-costs attitude supports evil. There’s a time to blind your adversary and a time to assassinate his character. Yes, there’s even a time for farting peasants. Are you a farting peasant?
