Who is Judy?

  • Born on June 22, 1946, to Clarence and Dorothy Simpkins.
  • Baptized at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Ferndale CA on September 18, 2022.
  • Married to Carl Neeley on October 4, 2022.
  • Fell asleep in the Lord unexpectedly on March 27, 2023.

From the moment Judy heard the Word of God she was devout in her faith, desiring to hear, read, and study the Lord’s Word as often as possible and to receive the Holy Sacraments in repentant faith. The Holy Spirit waited until the end of her life to bring her saving faith, according to His great wisdom. When He did, the blessing was rich and undeniable, a blessing to behold.

O God of grace and mercy, we give thanks for Your loving kindness shown to Judy and to all Your servants who, having finished their course in faith, now rest from their labors; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
